Travel Wanderlust reviews the KAGAMI True Wireless Earbuds

I recently had the pleasure of testing the Zerest Audio KAGAMI True Wireless Earbuds, and let’s just say that I was thoroughly impressed with their performance and comfort. As someone who frequently commutes and moves around a lot, I put these earbuds to the test in various settings, including crowded buses.

Throughout my review period, I focused on evaluating their durability, sound quality, comfort, and overall user experience.

Sound quality

The look and feel of KAGAMI True Wireless Earbuds is decent and is quite sturdy

One of the most critical features of any earbuds is their sound quality, and the Zerest Audio KAGAMI excels in this department. Equipped with high-fidelity audio drivers, these earbuds deliver a rich and immersive sound experience. The bass is deep and punchy without overwhelming the mids and highs, which remain clear and crisp. Whether you’re listening to classical music, rock, or podcasts, the earbuds provide a balanced and detailed sound that enhances your audio enjoyment. Although I didn’t have the opportunity to take a call during this review session, I did record audio while outdoors. The clarity was impressive, making it suitable for voice notes, though I wouldn’t recommend recording music on the go.

Noise reduction

The KAGAMI earbuds utilize advanced active noise cancellation (ANC) technology to block out unwanted ambient sounds effectively. During my bus rides, the noise cancellation performed admirably, allowing me to enjoy my podcasts despite the background noise. The ANC is comparable to other high-end models like the Google Pixel Buds Pro, creating a quiet bubble that lets you focus entirely on your audio. Additionally, the earbuds feature a transparency mode, which is perfect for staying aware of your surroundings when needed.

Battery life

Battery life is another strong suit of the KAGAMI earbuds. With up to 8 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, they can easily get you through a long day of use. The compact charging case offers an additional 24 hours of battery life, making it convenient for extended use without needing frequent recharges. The fast charging capabilities are also promising, though longer testing is necessary to determine their longevity accurately.

Performance on the move

The ergonomic design ensures a secure and comfortable fit, preventing the earbuds from falling out during vigorous activities like running or working out. The IPX5 water resistance rating protects the earbuds from sweat and light rain, making them ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. Connectivity is stable and robust, thanks to the latest Bluetooth 5.2 technology, which provides a seamless connection with minimal latency.

I did notice that after a while, the earbuds did shift, but I face similar issues with the Pixel Buds as well, so it just might be the shape of my ears.

The bad

The KAGAMI True Wireless Earbuds is not as compact as I’d like it to be

Hmmm, this is a tough one. We try to be balanced and overall, I think this is a solid piece of hardware. We did face issues when we paired it to older devices, in that it didn’t connect easily and would often drop.

The case is a bit bulky but does pack a decent charge, so it is a trade-off. Overall, there are flaws, but the benefits do outweigh some of the negatives.

Conclusion: KAGAMI True Wireless Earbuds are worth it

In conclusion, the Zerest Audio KAGAMI True Wireless Earbuds are a remarkable option for anyone seeking high-quality, affordable earbuds. Their impressive sound quality, effective noise cancellation, and long battery life make them a reliable choice for daily use. Whether you’re commuting, working out, or simply relaxing at home, these earbuds offer a versatile and enjoyable audio experience.

With a score of 9/10, the KAGAMI earbuds stand out as a top contender in their price range. I highly recommend them to anyone in the market for new wireless earbuds. You can purchase a pair on their website.
