Halloween Happenings

Spooky season is here once again, and whether you’re up for a good fright or prefer to keep it light, Clearwater offers a whole lot of fall fun festivities the entire family can enjoy. From tricks to treats, haunts and hayrides, bats or bounces, there’s sure to be an event to your liking. Here’s what’s happening in order of date:

The Market Marie

Saturday, October 14, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. 

Coachman Park

The Market Marie is moving to Coachman Park. In addition to more than 100 vendors, this month’s market features a pumpkin patch, fresh produce, sensory play area and a pet adoption area.

Halloween Festival

Saturday, October 14, 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.

​This festival is held at the Clearwater Academy campus. Entry is free.

Games, Haunted House, Bouncy House and Food requires tickets or wristbands. Tickets and wristbands are available for pre-purchase and purchase the day of the event.​

Parking is available on side streets surrounding the school. The campus itself will have one way in and out for safety.

Silent Slayer Ghost Hunt

Ghost hunters will explore the four-room schoolhouse of the South Ward School, the kindergarten classroom, cafeteria and media room. Come make a splash and pick your pumpkin from our “pumpkin patch” in Morningside’s Activity Pool. Dive into a family-friendly Halloween Spooktacular at Clearwater Marine Aquarium with daily activities and spooky decorations October 27 through October 31. Join us from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. on October 31 for an evening of eerie excitement, featuring a live DJ, costume contest and a dozen trick-or-treat candy stations for kids! CMA will undergo a ghostly transformation as guests tour through the aquarium’s eerie exhibits and encounter not only marine life but spooky surprises of ghostly grottos, haunted shipwrecks, and mysterious creatures.

Family Fun Halloween Event with Safe Trick or Treating

The Citizens Commission on Human Rights of Florida will be holding a family-friendly Halloween Open House.

Families and kids can participate to a Scavenger Hunt in our Museum decorated as a Mad Scientists’ Laboratory. There are plenty of candies for everyone visiting.

NOTE: If you come dressed as a scientist, you might receive extra candies!!

There will also be safe trick or treating with nearby non-profits & organizations on the block handing out candies and having fun kids activities as well.

Enjoy an epic HALLOWEEN evening on TUESDAY, October 31 starting at 6:00PM.
