The City of Clearwater, in partnership with KnowBe4, is sponsoring a monthly Food Truck event where the public can enjoy a great lunch, listen to music, play games and meet new people.
On Thursday, Aug. 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., join in on the fun for Food Truck Thursdays in Station Square Park, 612 Cleveland St, for the first of five Food Truck Thursdays in Downtown Clearwater, sponsored by KnowBe4, the Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency, and Clearwater Downtown Development Board.
The featured food truck Thursday will be Kickin Caribbean, offering a variety of Caribbean fare including jerk pulled pork, jerk chicken, and various rice bowls. There will also be a live DJ, and fun games to play in the park.
Patrons will enjoy newly installed dining tables, chairs, and umbrellas enhancing the park that have been installed offering the public and downtown workers a place to step away from their desks to enjoy a lunch break outside.
KnowBe4, a cybersecurity firm that is Downtown Clearwater’s largest employer, is co-sponsoring the event in an effort to encourage activity in Station Square Park.
“KnowBe4 is very excited to partner with the city of Clearwater to sponsor this event. Station Square is a great place downtown to get out, meet up for some music, a few games and good food. Our employees love it, and we hope to see others come by for a little lunchtime festivity,” said Tonie Popovich, of KnowBe4.
The series will continue over the next five months in Station Square Park, featuring a different food truck each month:
