Shiv Sena Leader Uddhav Thackeray to Lead Public Protest in Marathwada’s Hingoli District on August 27

On Sunday, Marathwada’s Hingoli district will play host to a public protest led by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray.

Uddhav Thackeray will be visiting Marathwada starting on August 27, according to a press release from the Shiv Sena (UBT). On August 27, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, he will hold a public demonstration in Hingoli as part of his trip to Marathwada.

Uddhav will be facing off against the BJP and the Chief Minister Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena at his maiden rally in Hingoli. “From August 27 this month, Uddhav will visit Marathwada. On the final day of his stay in Hingoli, he would hold a ‘Nirdhar’ public gathering. Around 3 o’clock, the rally will begin, a Sena official said.

Ajit Pawar, the deputy chief minister, will be speaking at a public gathering in Beed, the same city where his uncle and NCP president Sharad Pawar addressed a crowd ten days earlier.

The Shiv Sena, which is led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, gained seven former BMC Congress corporators on Saturday, dealing a serious blow to the Maharashtra Congress. The majority of these council members are from Dharavi, which is also where Varsha Gaikwad, the president of the Mumbai Congress, is an MLA for the Congress.

It’s actually remarkable to see that Santosh Bangar, a Sena MLA who rebelled against Thackeray and joined the Shinde-led Shiv Sena, represents Hingoli in the Assembly.

“We had put the rallies on hold recently due to the onset of rain and the summer. Now we will resume it soon. I am going to Hingoli on August 27, and then whenever you all decide the date, I will come to Pen and speak to you,” Uddhav stated.

Recently, Uddhav informed party members from Pen (Raigad) in Matoshree that he would hold a public demonstration in the Hingoli district on August 27 and that an event in Pen would follow shortly after.

“It is difficult for Uddhav to reassemble the party and keep up his flock amid the vertical split in the party created by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and the loss of the party name Shiv Sena and party polling symbol a bow and arrow to the Shinde-led Sena”, a Sena reported.

Uddhav has been travelling around Maharashtra and organising rallies in every district, notably in the districts represented by the renegade Sena MLAs and MPs.
