Essence Festival is the largest celebration of Black culture in America. This “party with a purpose” happens every year on the July 4 weekend and brings together Black people from across the globe to enjoy a blend of music, art, culture, empowerment, food, community, wellness and more!
You will be busy during the day, enjoying several free panels, workshops, vendors and activities and then partying by night in New Orleans dancing the night away to a stacked lineup of music’s biggest names in hip-hop, R&B, soul, funk, and gospel.
