When traveling with kids, it’s wise to choose a destination that offers plenty to see and do. “Sin City” Las Vegas may not be at the top of your list, but there is more family entertainment in Las Vegas than most realize.

Families can enjoy observing wildlife and sea creatures and botanical gardens with thousands of plants. Las Vegas is also home to unique theme parks and water parks that keep little ones busy for weeks.

There are 11 acres of amenities at this world-famous aquatic playground, including a 1.6 million-gallon wave pool, a meandering lazy river, and a lagoon ideal for swimming. #3 Springs Preserve

Spring Preserve, located less than 10 miles north of the Strip, is a 180-acre cultural institution dedicated to showcasing Las Vegas history in a family-friendly setting. According to travelers, it features the Origen Museum, which highlights the evolution of Las Vegas, the Nevada State Museum, play areas, galleries, and a botanical garden worth a visit on its own. #5 Discovery Children’s Museum

Through interactive learning experiences, The Discovery Children’s Museum teaches kids about science, technology, engineering, and art. A life-sized pirate ship and medieval castle are attractions at “Fantasy Festival,” which encourages children to use their imaginations with life-size models of the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the Bypass Bridge.

#6 High Roller Las Vegas Strip Observation Wheel

#10 Bellagio Fountains

Bellagio’s water show, which includes music and lights, takes place every 30 minutes from 3 to 7 p.m. and every 15 minutes from 7 p.m. to midnight. Every 30 minutes from noon to 7 p.m. on weekends and holidays, then every 15 minutes from 7 p.m. until midnight.

Keep in mind: Individuals must be at least 54 inches without footwear to ride.

Located at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino, the Tournament of Kings offers a dinner and show experience that’s sure to please kids of all ages. With the help of knights, horses, and exceptional storytelling, this performance tells the story of King Arthur. The swords are made of titanium during battle sequences and produce sparks.

#21Lion Habitat Ranch



The Lion Habitat Ranch is located near Henderson, Nevada, about 15 minutes south of the Strip. It provides a perfect backdrop for experiential learning. There are animals of all kinds on this ranch, including lions, tigers, and giraffes. Guests can take a behind-the-scenes tour to see how the property’s animals are fed, bathed, and hydrated. Some tours include the chance to feed the animals.

#22 Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas

Water park Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas offers rides and slides for kids of all ages. Tube slides, a wave pool, body water slides, a lazy river, and a collection of slides for the park’s youngest visitors are among the park’s attractions. The park is located just 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, and it’s open seasonally during warm months.

#23 Downtown Container Park

Located on Fremont Street, Downtown Container Park offers dining, shopping, and live entertainment. The Treehouse is a large climbing structure with several winding slides, or you can enjoy a free concert or movie on the park’s main stage. #24 Madame Tussauds Las Vegas

Madame Tussauds wax museum is sure to blow your kid’s mind. Museum visitors can view lifelike wax figures of sports and music icons, such as Muhammad Ali, Shaquille O’Neal, Tupac, Aaliyah and Miley Cyrus. A Marvel Universe 4D movie and a virtual reality experience are also available. The museum is located inside The Venetian.

#25 The STRAT Hotel SkyPod

In the heart of Las Vegas, you’ll find the SkyPod at the STRAT. It is located on top of the STRAT’s 1,149-foot-tall resort tower, which is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the country. A new observation deck and several restaurants were added to the SkyPod in 2019. Three different over-the-top rides propel thrill-seekers over the edge of the tower.
