The other night on the way down Thappraya, my missus noticed a giant, strawberry-topped cupcake building, so we decided to go have a look today.  Fairy Sweet Village is in a soft-opening phase according to their signs.  The venue itself is a place that the kids will surely love, as there are many types of sweets to choose from, on top of the little sugary village photo opportunities.

The Fairy Sweet Village is owned and operated by the same folks behind White&Yolk next-door (formerly The Wooden Box).  We did not try White&Yolk today.  That being said, it looks to be a very high-class salad bar, so it seems a decent place for the health conscious people of Pattaya.

The only issue with the Fairy Village that I can see is that in order to enter the village part of the attraction, Thais are required to purchase 100 baht worth of drinks or desserts and Foreigners are required to purchase 200 baht worth.  Aside from the double-pricing, it was a very nice place.  The desserts were very rich and they used quality chocolate.

There are plenty of photo opportunities that start in the sit-down portion of the sweets shop.  There is a donut scene and a ball pit with neon backdrop inside and plenty more outside.

They have a beautiful red carousel outside for the little ones to ride and from their cake sample wall, it seems that there may be many different kinds of special order cake options available.

All-in-all, it will make a very nice little addition to Pattaya for the kids to experience.  Looking forward to trying out White&Yolk salad bar in the next couple of weeks as well.

The staff at Fairy Sweet Village were very helpful and friendly with smiles all-around, though there weren’t many customers.  Perhaps just because not enough people are aware that it exists.  Product prices weren’t terrible.  The cupcake was 100 baht and the cheesecake was 125 baht.  Would definitely take the kids there at least once or twice.  They would enjoy and appreciate it much more than us adults.
