Hotel Alma

I stayed here for my birthday one year. It’s a wonderful spot. I visit Restaurant Alma and Cafe Alma quite frequently.

Both the restaurant and the cafe have amazing food, so if you like staying at hotels that you can enjoy the experience on-site, this place is for you. 

The cafe is very reasonably priced and the quality is exceptional. They serve breakfast with excellent coffee (my cold brew fix was solved immediately) and then pair different daily lunch and dinner specials. 

Restaurant Alma is a high-end restaurant with a full dining experience either prix-fixe or a la carte. 

As for the hotel, it’s as boutique as it gets. They have 7 different hotel rooms, each with varying styles. Each room is designed to perfection. When I stay at hotels like Hotel Alma, it makes me want to up my interior design game. 

Here’s how my room looked upon arrival. Fresh sparkling water and some snacks. It felt so cozy in there. 

In addition to the awesome decor, our hotel room had a nice terrace with some views of the Mississippi River. 

The cafe lighting was excellent for me to enjoy a nice drink from the bar at night and soak in the views. 

Hotel Alma makes for one of the best hotels in Minneapolis simply due to the care and great food. The design and hospitality are simply bonuses being that. It makes for a comfy, cozy and personal stay. 

If you’re a boutique hotel fan like me, this is where you need to stay in Minneapolis. 

Hewing Hotel

The Hewing Hotel is one of the larger, most well-known boutique hotels in Minneapolis. I stayed here on my wedding night believe it or not.

The hotel makes for great photos, skylines views and good nightlife vibes in the heart of the North Loop.

North Loop is one of the more popular areas in Minneapolis that features James Beard winning restaurants, excellent cocktail bars and is within steps of Target Field if you’re in town for a baseball game or concert. 

One of the town’s lovely lodging is the Hewing Hotel, a charming and captivating accommodation that serves not only as a place to stay but a home in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The hotel is a former warehouse in 1897 that is now turn into a charming hotel.

It offers an excellent lodging facility and amenities such as spacious rooms with each district’s local art scenes and designs, a set of beddings with pillows, a gym, sauna, bar, and a lovely pool to enjoy, as well as other convenient hotel amenities.

Hewing Hotel is situated in an ideal location where it is accessible to various establishments, opportunities, and beautiful attractions found in Minneapolis.

It is perched in a strategic location that gives easy access to various iconic landmarks, establishments, attractions in Minneapolis near the hotel.

Some of these attractions were the Guthrie Theatre that within few blocks, and The Armory that is a few minutes walks from the Canopy by Hilton Minneapolis Mill District.
