Sam Dunes are about 23kms from Suryagarh. In recent years, Jaisalmer has been connected by flight to cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Bangalore. However, the flights are only operational during the winter months. Other ways to reach Jaisalmer is via rail or road.
