Robber’cave or Gucchu Pani is the only Cave in Dehradun that is most famous and visited by tourists, more commonly known as Gucchu Paani by locals, is a six-hundred meters long natural river cave situated in the Himalayas on the Dehar Plateau in Dehradun, India. The cave is divided into two main sections and features a ten-meter-high waterfall.

The central part of the cave has a fort wall structure which has now been broken. It consists of a narrow gorge formed in a conglomerate limestone area on Doon Valley’s Dehra Plateau. This site is of great archaeological importance as it provides insight into the military history of the region.

The best time to visit the Robbers cave in Dehradun is during the summer, from March to June, and the winter from October to February. Summers offer tourists respite from the humidity of the remaining country, and winters are beautiful as you witness the fog and maybe a little mist. Entry & Timing

The entry fee to the Robbers Cave in Dehradun is Rs. 35. You can park your vehicle or cab in the parking lot for Rs. 20 (two-wheelers) or Rs. 30 (four-wheelers). If you have a couple of extra things you don’t wish to carry inside the cave, you can hire a locker for Rs. 30. The cave is open from 7 am to 6 pm daily.
