Can’t say enough good things about this old-fashioned soda fountain where you can get cones, sundaes, banana splits, other sweet treats and beverages.

Popular with locals and visitors alike. It’s a place where you can still treat the entire family for ten bucks or under. It’s a fun place to be for young and old alike.

Yarnell ice cream is served, and there are many different flavors to choose from. I can personally recommend the strawberry. It is sooooooooooo good!

8th Street Market 801 SE 8th St This popular local food hub is home to several quality restaurants, food stalls, food trucks and watering holes.

Bike Rack brewing, a great local brewery and tap room has a huge outdoor seating area.

Yeyo’s,  Markam & Fitz, and CO-OP Ramen are located on the outside.

Sweet Freedom Cheese (cheeses from around the world) located on the right as you enter. Roll & Fold, Triple Eight Hashery dim sun (vegan), Cinnamon Rolls and the Happy Wagon (Gelati) are indoor food stalls.

8th Street Market also has a number of excellent food trucks on the east side.

Blu Fresh Fish Marketplace  $$

Has the freshest seafood in the area. It’s flown in fresh daily from both coasts and the gulf, and oh my, is it ever flavorful.

You may either dine in or carry out, and there’s also a fantastic patio. Try one of the scrumptious baskets, a Snapper sandwich or Fish Fajitas. All are just downright amazing.

Sushi Bar is fantastic too!
