Pain is controlled with painkillers. Bruising and swelling are significantly reduced between 6 and 12 weeks. Recovery time can also be accelerated by using supplements such as Arnica and Bromelain and features such as LED light therapy. After 10 to 14 days, you can resume light exercise. You should avoid any strong exercise for at least 6 weeks after surgery. After the wound has dried and fallen, that is about 4 to 6 weeks after surgery, use wound healing medications such as gels and special creams. Sometimes a full recovery after this surgery takes several months for many patients. Like any other surgery, take your physician’s advice seriously after the operation. Recovery after paniculectomy is almost similar to recovery after abdominoplasty.
