Ziloo

Ziloo is one of the most artistic things that you can find among Kashan handicrafts. It tis actually a kind of ground cloth made of cotton lining, which is mostly founded in lands with a dry climate due to the coolness of cotton. It is a double-layered cloth and its motifs are completely subjective, with no prior designs.

Nashjali Giveh

Giveh is a kind of light Summer shoe which is made from cotton and Nashjali giveh is a kind of giveh which is made is Nashj village. In this village, which is located 45 kilometers out of Kashan, men and women contribute to the development this shoes. Giveh consists of two separate parts, the out side and the sole, women weave the surface and the sole making is the work of the village men. The production of giveh is so vogue that you can see a workshop in almost every house of this village.

She’r cloth

She’r is the name of a silk fabric that is woven by hand. Weaving she’r goes back to more than 350 years ago in Kashan and it is one of the oldest arts in Kashan. There is no specific design for this cloth and it is woven simple or in the pattern of stripes. the simple fabric is used for women and woven in the colors of purple, black, yellow, green and maroon; the stripe patterned cloth is used for men.
