La Fabrica Restaurante Review
I wanted to experience what it’s like dining in a Michelin-Starred restaurant while visiting Spain so I saw that this gem and decided to head here. It’s a little off the the touristy area, but it’s still conveniently close; you can walk there. It’s popular with locals, which makes me even more intrigued.

Ambiance
The atmosphere and decor are indicative of sophistication, elegance and tasteful with original art and fine quality furnishings. Despite the fact that there are other diners, the place isn’t cramped and, to be honest, it’s quite relaxing.
Food
It serves a modern take on traditional Spanish cuisine, prepared with fresh local ingredients and elegantly presented. According to what I’ve been told, the menu varies every once in a while, and you can only get them on certain days.
Salads are often uninteresting, and I avoid them while dining outside, but the Enselada Japonesa at La Fabrica is exquisite that I got another to take home.
The Solomillo is flavorful and chewy because they are leaner. Thank goodness I ordered medium rare. I forgot to ask about the sauce, but it was delicious. Very delicious!
At La Fabrica, the Tiramisu is served in uneven shape and dusted heavily with rich cacao then topped with vanilla ice cream. It is not overly sweet and enlivened subtly with coffee.
Service
The service is impeccable, and they made me feel very welcomed. Everything is done with a can-do attitude. They were courteous, prompt, and attentive.
Overall
I would strongly suggest it to anybody visiting Burgos; it’s a pleasant break from the regular restaurants around the cathedral. I will most certainly return.
This To Remember
Like I said, La Fabrica is quite popular with the locals so placing a reservation is a must. You may head to their website to book for a slot. Also booking can be quite confusing especially if you don’t speak Spanish but you may send a message via the La Fabrica Facebook Page, they’re very responsive.
