Why Ladakh?

The town is located in the Indus River Valley, which was formerly a crossroads for Kashgar, Kashmir, and Tibet trade routes. The city is so small that people can stroll all around it. The temperature is very pleasing to enjoy the landscape and beauty of the majestic peaks. When it comes to getting into this town, train is not the only mode of transportation available, but automobiles are. There are two routes: one from Manali, Himachal Pradesh, and the other from Srinagar, Kashmir. The latter alternative is preferable because the road is at a considerably lower elevation than the first. These journeys are what making Ladakh the best. Journey through mighty high lands and passes enjoying the view of placid mountain streams and the icy green slopes will be one of a kind. The journey to Khardung La pass is one of the most delightful activities you will ever have in the Highlands. Best time to visit Ladakh

Due to severe weather, Leh is inaccessible for most of the year; the best time to visit Ladakh if you are planning a road trip is between May and September.

As winter approaches, the temperature in Ladakh drops rapidly, and the lakes then freezes into a thick, hard sheet, becoming white from its lush green appearance, offering tourists an amazing view. May to September is the best time to visit Pangong as the weather is pleasant and you can reach there without much struggle during this period.
