Again waiting for the eye doctor and went for lunch. Not many things are close by. This time I went to Krpan Restaurant. This was a traditional restaurant from opening in 1946 until in 90’s it changed into a seafood restaurant. I passed this place many times but never stopped here.
At the entrance, it didn’t look welcoming. I chose a table on the ground floor for visitors walking in and daily lunch. Otherwise, they have a nice garden and main space on the first floor. A waitress came soon and I ordered octopus salad as an appetizer, Sea Bass, and potatoes with chard as the main dish. I finished with tiramisu as dessert. Before a visit to doctor, I drank mineral water.
The octopus was served with warm potatoes, garlic, and cherry tomatoes. There was also toasted bread with olive oil. Two pieces of perfectly grilled seabass were maybe a little too much, but I managed to eat it all. The waitress persuaded me to take a dessert as well, homemade tiramisu.
I paid 53 €, pricy but worth it. If you are looking for fish you will find it here.
