Woke before 5 am, checked out and with Bolt to main Train station Barcelona, 7 TND. For breakfast crossiant and water 3 TND. In kiosk cigarettes 10 TND. Ticket to Soisse 8.1 TND, more then 2 hours, cold.
On arrival quick walk around kasbah with fort-ribat 8€ and mosque 5 €. To Shared Taxi station and on to Monastir 2.5 TND.
Monastir is small town similar walk, mosque and ribat, beach and time to move on with shared taxi to Kairouan, 4.7 TND.
This was capital and religously important. I took it slower, visited mausoleum, some anciact ponds, grand mosque was closed duri g the prayer. Alyi visited governor house and medresse.
Now it was time for last move to El Jem, but things got complicated. No transport to El Jem. I had to go back to Sousse, 8.1 TND. When I arri ed all shared taxis were gone. Only option was train at midnight. Even tried taxi, but they cant drive to another region.
It was now time to wait more then 3 hours and I wa not happy. Different people come early to station. Ticket was 4.7 TND. No seats on train, got one. Tired arrived to hotel after 1 am, 49 €.
