Rovinj

On saturday morning I went toward coast, it was time to visit again Barbariga– First I stopped at gas station, 31 €, on highway where is more expansive? Soon I stuck in traffic jam at Brezovica and I went to the old road up to Logatec Later there was no problem, crossed border smoothly. I parked in Rovinj (2 €), went to post to pay the bills (125€). Later I walked up hill to the St. Euphemia church in old town along cobbled narrow streets and slowly returned back to car.

Barbariga

In Barbariga, after parking I unpacked, cleaned a bit and went for ćevapi at Lucky, 15 €. Than it was time to shop, 15 €. At neighbour’s I stuck and had few drinks to many. Went to the coast and back home. I ate nuggets and fries there. Next morning after shower I finished cleaning and rested by TV until Elena arrived with family.

Višnjan

It was time to move on. On way home I was hungry so I decided to stop at Višnjan.

Borgonja

I went to Borgonja (named after one of oldest wines). I started there with carpaccio of Boškarin-istrian beef, on arugula with grated hard cheese and acceto balsamico, 15 €.

Main dish was beef steak, medium prepared in sauce from pepper on the side where grilled vegetables and sauted potatoe, 30 €. It was tender, juicy and tasty. But I waited for it a bit to long.

For dessert I chose chocolate souffle with ice cream, classic, 5 €.

I finished with biska as disgestive, storng spirit from gape schanpps and miseltoe esence. I should be almost 55 € with bread and mineral water 1l, but because I waited longer for steak I paid 50 € and last drink was for free (also other guests).

To let food rest a bit I went to old town of Višnjan, passed sun clock on my way, on top there is square with church and lodga with view. And back to car and drove home in not to much of a traffic.
