It is located 500 km away from Chennai, offers some of the most beautiful white-sand beaches, and is associated with the Hindu Epic Ramayana. You can easily get to the island by taking a flight to Madurai and then can reach Pamban by road from there, located approximately 120 away.

The largest town in Pamban Island is Rameswaram town. It is one of the most Hindu religious sites where thousands of pilgrimage visits every year. It is a good place to visit and explore other cultures where you can expand your knowledge about others’ life.

Pamban Island has several hillocks, and Mount Gandamadana is known to be the tallest peak of them all. It is about 3 kilometers from Rameswaram town and the ghost town of Dhanushkodi. Along the way and allover Pamban Island, you will see coconut, palm trees, fig, and eucalyptus plants. As soon as you get to the sea-shore, you will see an abundance of scrubs and ruches.

The Great Nicobar Island located on the Southernmost tip of India. It is famous for its tropical rainforests, hiking adventures, and Indira point. You can spend your time exploring its rich flora and fauna or enjoy hiking with your friends. ,,The island will give you the required relaxation and will ensure that you are making the most of your time on your trip to India.

  • The Lighthouse in Little Andaman is 41 m tall. It is about 10 Kilometer from Hut Bay. I would recommend renting a jeep, motorcycle, or bicycle. You can go up the LIghthouse and enjoy the view of the coastline and forest. Get your camera ready to take some pictures.
  • Beaches, such as Butler Bay beach in Hut Bay. Butler Bay beach is one of the hidden gems in India and the best tourist destination in Little Andaman Island. Tourists from all over the world visit Bulter Bay for surfing because it has one of the highest waves in the world.
  • You can charter a local boat with a tour or visit take a tour throughout the jungle.

7. Majuli Island:

Majuli Island is another overwhelming destination for the lovers of islands and heavenly beaches. The island stands between two channels of the mighty Brahmaputra River, and it is one of the most visited islands in India due to the presence of unique Hindu Satras (or monasteries). A variety of practices related to art, dance, and literature have been followed and preserved in the region for a very long time.
