Experience Western Australia

Western Australia is the largest state in Australia and is the least inhabited. Western Australia tours provide the opportunity to experience the many natural and unique attractions on the West Coast. You are spoilt for choice with so many Western Australia tour packages available ranging from local produce tours, to wildlife adventures and historic experiences. Choose from a variety of exciting tours which include some of the following:

Fremantle Prison

The Fremantle Prison was built in the 19th century and remained in use until 1991. The prison was the site of many riots, escapes, floggings and hangings. After a series of riots and concerns for prisoner conditions, closure was recommended in 1983. Visitors step back in time and experience what it was like for convicts and prisoners. For the more adventurous you can explore the one-kilometre series of tunnels below by foot and boat, or dare to take on a prison night tour.

Rottnest Island

Explore the natural beauty and amazing scenery of Rottnest Island. The island has so many unique activities set in a relaxed and family friendly atmosphere. Located only 19 kilometres off the mainland of Western Australia, Rottnest Island is home to breathtaking white sandy beaches, unique wildlife (including the famous Quokka), secluded bays, colourful history and fascinating shipwrecks. Rottnest Island tours have something for everyone to enjoy.

The Pinnacles

The Pinnacles are a major tourist attraction in the region, attracting around 25,000 visitors each year. Located approximately 200km north of Perth, the Pinnacles desert is an area of approximately 190 hectares containing thousands of limestone formations up to five metres in height. The constant movement of the surrounding dunes create an ever-changing landscape best viewed during sunrise and sunset when the shadows ripple over the sands.

The Swan Valley

The Swan Valley offers an enticing mixture of food, wine, art, nature and breathtaking scenery. You can enjoy the region’s world-class wineries, restaurants and markets only 25 minutes from Perth. With the best chefs, chocolatiers, ice cream makers and honey producers set amongst beautiful scenery, the Swan Valley offers endless experiences.

Penguin Island

The white sandy beaches of Penguin Island are surrounded by crystal clear waters located only 45 minutes south of Perth in the Shoalwater Island Marine Park. Ferries depart hourly between 9am and 3pm and you can view penguin feeding times at 10.15am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm daily. Besides getting up close with the cute penguins, visitors can also enjoy snorkelling, swimming, the nature trails, or a relaxing picnic amongst nature.

Shoalwater Island Marine Park

A great place for diving and snorkelling, the Shoalwater Island Marine Park features pristine islands, shipwrecks and reefs to explore. The area is also abundant in wildlife including, penguins, rare Australian Sea Lions and a variety of marine life. You may even spot bottlenose dolphins which are very common in the area.
