Marathi Sahitya Akademi, Madhya Pradesh Sanskriti Parishad, Bhopal broadcasted ‘Bhav Sangeet’ on Saturday. The artists of Gwalior gave a spontaneous performance on the Department’s YouTube channel.
Bhav Sangeet has an important place in the Marathi singing tradition. Under this, the presentation of the popular Marathi Bhav Sangeet by the artists of Swar Gandhali, Gwalior was held.
In the programme, special songs performed on the occasion of Sawan season by main artists Ku Purvi Sandeep and Piyush Gore, Sau Gauri Gore in the main form, *Soor Niragas Ho, Shravanat Ghan Nila Barsala. The presentation of Chandane Shimpit Jashi Chalta Tu Chanchale, Pratham Tuj Pahta..
The artists was accompanied by. Ankur Dharker on Violin, Narayan Kate, Vikas Vipat on Tabla, Deep Gaud on Guitar and Ankur Dharkar accompanied in singing.
The programme was successfully organized under the guidance of Uday Paranjpe, Director, Marathi Sahitya Akademi. Meanwhile, on the occasion of Guru Purnima, the Directorate of Culture, Madhya Pradesh Government organized Guru Purnima festival at Ravindra Bhawan auditorium, in which first Raag Bhairav and Raag Megh were presented by Akash Guntiwar and his disciples.
He was accompanied on Tabla by Manoj Patidar and on Harmonium by. Jitendra Sharma.The other performance was given by V. Anuradha Singh. She performed Kathak dance. Anuradha composed Guru Vandana, Shiv Vandana, five rhythms, Kathak in three rhythms, Raga Mian Malhar composed – ‘Barsan Lagi Badariya Sawan Ki’ followed by Thumri based on Raga Kalavati – ‘Mohe Chhedo Na’ and Raga Hansdhwani He ended his presentation with Tarana.
The event was concluded by Pandit Kiran Deshpande presented the Rupak Taal on the tabla, followed by raga Madhmad in Sarang, Jhaptal.
He was accompanied on tabla by Harshit Soni and on harmonium by Aman Malak. The programme was broadcasted online.
