Why did we dine here? – Ahgassi Gopchang is a sister restaurant to Korean BBQ favorite: Kang Ho-dong Baekjeong. (Which we also love) The restaurant’s name means Young Lady Small Intestines, hence the additions of several ‘parts’ on the menu. We stuck to the regular stuff. Insider Tip – Come early, it gets crowded Cuisine – Korean Location – Koreatown Los Angeles Opened – 2013 Service – Ahgassi Gopchang had friendly service but it fell apart as the place got busy. You need to hail people after a while. Verdict – Ahgassi Gopchang serves up some mean Korean BBQ, on the level that is not present in very many areas. This is definitely a great place to visit when you are in LA. Far better than the stuff in Northern California.
