The Suffolk Coast? A big draw for people to Suffolk is the Suffolk coast. There is a 50 mile stretch of heritage coast, most of which is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) with some of the most unspoiled beaches in the UK. Our favourite Suffolk beaches are Dunwich, Thorpeness, Aldeburgh, Southwold, Walberswick and Covehithe. There are plenty of coastal campsites in Suffolk to choose from if you’re looking for a beach holiday.
If you’re not looking for a coastal holiday, then there’s the rural Constable countryside around Dedham Vale, also an AONB and many quaint Suffolk villages. Campsite: 120 Dunwich camping and touring pitches with holiday cottages and lodges. Bar and restaurant, playground, shop shower and toilet. If you’re looking specifically for campsites in Suffolk near the sea, this is about as close as you’ll get as it is perched right on the cliff top.

Little Wren Glamping
Location: Church Farm, South Cove, Beccles, NR34 7JD
Campsite: 3 bell tents (one with hot tub). Each tent has its own compost toilet and shower and a well-equipped kitchen. There’s a small honesty shop with essentials and a children’s play area. This is one of the loveliest small campsites in Suffolk on a working farm with little extras like feeding lambs, collecting your own eggs and picking potatoes. Note that there is no tent camping here.

Campsite: A 14 acre site with pitches for tents, campervans and motorhomes. It has fantastic, award-winning facilities including laundry, kids play area, café and shop. They also have a smaller 16 pitch campsite (with no facilities) on Walberswick beach. Your Suffolk beach campsites experience doesn’t get better than this.

Campsite: If you’re looking for caravan parks in Suffolk, this is ideal. Set in 30 acres of meadows and lakes there are 50 pitches for caravans, campervans and motorhomes. They are not taking tent bookings for 2020. There are communal shower and toilet facilities.

Tent pitches share communal shower and toilet facilities and there’s a small shop on site. There is no electric hook up for tent pitches. No motorhomes or campervans are allowed on site.

Easton Farm Park
Campsite: 70 pitches available on a huge field with electric hook ups for tents, motorhomes, caravans and campervans. There are also 3 sow-themed glamping pods. There are communal showers and toilets but the best part is that the campsite is attached to Easton Farm Park which is a fantastic place to take little ones and includes an indoor play barn in case of bad weather. There is a one off charge for entry to the farm and you can visit as many times as you like during your stay. Cottages are also available to hire.
