Someone who has filled your life with some incredible and memorable moments, someone who always give that push you needed to reach that extra mile, and someone who also knows your dirty secrets. Isn’t it?

Siva – an engineer by profession and wanderlust by heart always crave for crazy experiences in life. He believes that ‘it is not that diamonds are girl’s best friends, but his best friends are diamonds instead and traveling with them is something that makes him delight!” He shared his magnificent Andaman and Nicobar trip with Dekho Andaman here.

“Traveling for me is exploring, experimenting, enjoying, and embracing the existence and discovering the new corners of life. And a holiday with friends is more like a cherry on the cake. Because I can be who I actually am. Goofy, stupid, and crazy! So, when my friends and I were looking for places that cater to our expectations. After a series of discussions, we have decided to head Andaman but choosing a travel representative was one kind of hell. Through Facebook, we have taken up Dekho Andaman and waiting for the date. But, little did we know that we have a bucket full of madness and adventure waiting ahead.

Day – 1: Arrival in Andaman

We have reached the Port Blair airport and then a travel representative was already waiting for us. With the help of him, we were moved to the hotel. After a scrumptious breakfast and little recreation, we were headed to our first place – Carbyn’s Cove Beach. With pleasant blue waters and lush green coconut palms, it was serene and supreme. Next, we were headed to the Cellular Jail – a place of pilgrimage for all freedom loving people. A local guide we hired explained us the history and cause for the construction of this magnificent place. The light and sound show at Cellular Jail has to be witnessed. It was splendid, indeed.

Day – 2: Spell Bounded in Diglipur Beach

If you are coming to experience andaman,this place has to be on your list. Because it is one of the off-beat experience you would get here. We have decided to go to this place as we were told that we can witness turtle nesting. And, it was really fun. We have spent the whole day enjoying nature, those chirping birds, and amazing ambience.

Day – 3: Ross Island + Arial Bay Beach

So, on the third day of our holiday, according to our Andaman Tour Package, we have been to Ross Island. We got to know that it is formerly the capital of Port Blair. The island holds the aesthetic value rather seriously, the old trees and landmarks by its wild vines, roots, the bakery, the officers’ quarters are a few must-visit attractions. My friends and I were literally amazed by its panoramic view and the animals over there like deers, peacocks, and ducks. It was amazing!

Day – 4: Baratang Island + Amkunj Beach + Mangrove Walkway

The next day, we transported from Diglipur to Baratang Island. I was a bit worn out since initially a long drive and then ferry and next, a speed boat ride to reach the Baratang Islands. During the journey, I got a thought like is this necessary to me now. But when we reached the place, I was like, it is worth enduring a bit inconvenience in travel. Baratang Island has some fascinating and unique charm like its impressive limestone caves. They are sedimentary rock formed and compressed over millions of years by the constant deposits of several components like seashells, skeletons, corals, and marine life. It was just fantastic!

Since we have an ample amount of time, we decided to say hello to Amkunj Beach which was quite scenic. Later, we moved towards the Mangrove Walkaway. Although the path was little bumpy, the peculiar charm of the Mangrove forest just shades the fatigue.

So, my stress-buster trip with my gang has been pretty much over with loads of excitement and gratification. But, we couldn’t understand how four days have passed, which is also an indication, that our short yet much-needed vacation has been incredible. We have had lots of fun, adventure, sheer joy, and of course, made a lot of memories. Big fat thanks to Dekho Andaman for its sublime Andaman Tour Package and making this holiday happen!
