A river also passes under the caves and a small section of the tour may require you to get on a small boat. It’s a truly memorable experience and one that you’ll be sure not to forget. 

Pollnagollum Cave is also part of the Marble Arch Caves and it has been referred to as the “Hole of Doves”. It is quite a romantic hidden gem as it features a bellowing waterfall that cascades down a limestone cliff.

Things to do in County Antrim for couples 

County Antrim is one of the most stunning parts of Northern Ireland, in particular the nine Glens of Antrim, which are renowned around the world for their mesmeric beauty and tranquil settings. 

Visiting these Glens will leave you feeling as if you have stepped into a magical land with your partner at your side, from impressive waterfalls to jaw-dropping coastal scenes, it is a must if you’re hoping to impress your plus one. 

If you’re looking for thrilling things to do in Northern Ireland as a couple, you should also cross the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge while in Antrim. You could spend all day here with your partner and the maze makes for a truly memorable experience if you can find your way out that is!

Another spot in County Down that is worth the visit with your partner is the village of Rostrevor, where you’ll find a magical fairy glen, the famous CS Lewis Square and the stunning Carlingford Lough.
