The Difference Between First Class and Business Class

The Difference Between First Class and Business Class

Many of us choose the basic economy Class for the sakes of saving money and not spending so much on a ticket for first class with it being so expensive. However I’m sure we have all got to a point where we wish to fly first class.

So if you were to purchase tickets for business class, and travel, let’s say to New York, what would you receive?

  • You would have the luxury of laying down on a lay flat seat instead of having to sit on a standard seat. You don’t have to feel restricted and you have the ability to stretch & move around freely without discomfort.
  • Your stomach will be satisfied. With a full course meal available and a menu full of different choices to choose from. Let’s not forget high quality free drinks that you can sip on during your long journey.
  • Less noise. Being in a quieter and less busy area of the plane will mean little noise from a panicky first time flyer or a crying baby. You can enjoy your time more by the silence that surrounds the atmosphere.
  • Less queues. You will find that when you board for first class there is rarely long queues compared to economy flights and it just makes it a more serene experience without the level of people in front of you and having to patiently wait for what seems a long time.
  • You get lounge access. With lounge access you’re able to enjoy yourself with entertainment ranging from TV to films and of course music.
  • Attention from flight attendees. Flight attendants do a great job of taking care of you; they know how much you have invested to fly with them and intend to treat you right.

Now if you were to fly first class what would you receive?

When you opt for first class service you will find that as soon as your feet land on the airport ground you’re already experiencing its service.  A lot of airlines aim to provide the best service possible.

  • At your arrival you will be in a separate private check in area & will have a friendly porter carry your bags. Along with a nice free glass of bubbly to indulge in.
  • If you fly enough you will gain privileges for travelling, this can incorporate complimentary upgrades you can use on your next flight.
  • Once you actually board the plane you get offered a super array of meals to choose from varied meals, from high quality champagne to some lobster tail and even caviar.
  • The service from flight attendants is also very effective & personal thus making you feel comfortable and cared for.
  • Like business class you are provided a lay flat seat to lay down in and kick back to enjoy a nice kip. You can lay completely flat at 180 degrees allowing you to really relax & sink into a deep sleep. Pillows, pyjamas and a toiletry kit are also provided.
  • For privacy sake, you also have a curtain or a divider of some sort to separate you from other passengers.

In summary both Business class and first class are equally pleasurable but in saying that, they have their have their own differences that are bound to excite you and provide you with a more enjoyable journey.
