Ibn e Masood narrated that Prophet Muhammad PBUH said; “Follow-up with Hajj and Umrah, as they remove poverty and sins just like the fire separates impurities from silver, iron, and gold.”

This shows how this nafl prayer purifies the soul and is a way of prosperity in life.

Umrah in Ramadan

To reap the best rewards out of this nafl prayer, it is advisable to perform it during the blessed month of Ramadan. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad narrated the benefits of achieving Umrah in Ramadan on countless occasions.

The reward of performing Umrah in Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj. In another Hadith, we learn that it is just like hajj performed with Prophet Muhammad PBUH.

Allah SWT blessed Muslims with numerous opportunities to earn reward and gain high ranks in the hereafter. We now must utilize these prospects and sacrifice everything in the path of Allah SWT.
