Order A Bucket

As the quintessential drink of Thailand, a standard bucket is a concoction of ice, 300 ml bottle of alcohol, Thai Red Bull (much stronger than the average Red Bull), and some soda all poured in a sand bucket (like the ones kids play with at the beach.)

Songkran

Songkran is one of Thailand’s most famous festivals.

April 13^th marks the beginning of a traditional Thai New Year, however, the holiday period is extended through the 15^th in order to properly celebrate.

Water guns, buckets, and water hoses are used in the celebration, and the goal is to wet as many people as possible!

Although I much prefer Khao San Road in Bangkok, there is certainly no denying the tempting hedonistic undertones of Bangla Road, often times luring tourists deeper and deeper down the wild rabbit hole.

Muay Thai Kickboxing

Chances are if you’re backpacking Thailand with some of your buddies, at some point during the trip tensions will rise and arguments will happen.

What better way to settle a dispute and release that built up tension than to step into a ring and just fight it out.

Well now’s your chance!

On Phi Phi Island tourists are allowed to participate in sparring matches with their buddies in a real-life Muay Thai boxing arena!
