Barbeque Nation, The Exclusive Lunch Buffet

The first stop on our food journey in Chandigarh was Barbeque nation. We reached Chandigarh in Morning and went for Lunch at Barbeque Nation, the best buffet in town.

We were recommended to try this place and we are glad that we did. The warm ambiance of this buffet restaurant was very inviting and the staff here was very friendly.

The lunch began with a wide variety of starters both veg and nonveg. The best part about this place was the live grill on the table where the starters were served.

We particularly loved the grilled pineapple. The main course after the starters were also very delightful. This place is a must-try restaurant in Chandigarh. 

Virgin Courtyard, The Italian Courtyard in India 

Virgin Courtyard is one of the most exotic places in Chandigarh. We went there for brunch during our food journey in Chandigarh.

The moment we entered the place, we felt the vibe of being at the place where the flavors were blended together with the architectural vibe of Italy.

The white and blue interior they decorated the place is so calm and peaceful that it actually inflicted the ray of relaxation in every nerve of ours. The food here is also very authentic.

We would highly recommend you to try the Tomato Consomme Soup with vegetables, Pasta Arrabiata, and Pizza here at Virgin Courtyard in Chandigarh. 

Social, Sector 7, Chandigarh 

At night we went to Social, a renowned bar and Restaurant of Chandigarh in Sector 7. Whereat one end the live music playing at this place was thrilling, there, at the other end, the menu they had was remarkably elaborate.

We ordered a few drinks along with the Tandoori platter and fell in love with the place while listening to the live band playing music. The love for food, the zeal of having fun, and thrill of listening to live bands, Social has everything for you.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf 

Yes, the name suggests exactly what this place is. This is a cafe located near the famous Hotel Aroma along with its branch in Elante Mall. We went here for an evening snack during our Food tour in Chandigarh and we would say, it wasn’t disappointing at all.

Their Cafe Late is extremely well brewed and the wide range of snacks on their menu makes this cafe one of the most loved in town.

We were recommended this cafe by some local folks and we really thank them for recommending the best place to enjoy coffee in Chandigarh. One should definitely try out their Fresh Grilled Sandwiches. 

Sector 8 Food Hub, Chandigarh 

Like in every city of India, there is also one specific place that is renowned for its food in Chandigarh, Sector 8. Sector 8 is one of the sectors that is included in the famous Geri Route of Chandigarh.

This is the place where people go for snacking, drives and enjoying different flavors of taste. The place is always crowded and attracts most of the youngsters in the city who love to hang out and enjoy food.

We visited this place after dinner to feed our sweet tooth and we were delighted to see so many options here. Even after dinner, we were tempted to eat again. But unfortunately, we were not able to try much.

We just went to the famous bakery store – “The Monicas”. The place is famous for its delicious pastries and cakes.

We ordered the slice of mud cake and fresh fruit cake and we have to say that it was the best mud cake we ever tasted. Along with that we also tasted the Frozen Yogurt from “Froyo” and it was amazing. 

On the last day of our food tour, we went to Oven Fresh for Italian Breakfast, Garam Dharam for delightful Desi Indan Lunch, and Hunka Hunka Town for Dinner. The journey of exploring food in Chandigarh was highly exciting.

Before we end our experience we would definitely like to say a few words about the “Garam Dharam” restaurant in Chandigarh. The place is started as a devotion to the famous Bollywood actor, Mr. Dharmendra.
