Dinidza River Lodge offers secluded and comfortable self-catering accommodation for up to 8 guests within a spacious lodge and two self contained chalets.

The reserve encompasses some 2 800ha including 6km of impressive river frontage on the perennial Olifants River. With the removal of the Kruger National Park boundary fence over 20 years ago, the reserve is within the Greater Kruger National Park and the UNESCO proclaimed Kruger to Canyons Biosphere Reserve. The outstanding game viewing & wildlife can be experienced without the ques & traffic often encountered in reserves open to the public. Time alone with family & friends, in such a magnificent setting, elevates this bush experience to a whole new level.

We regret that unfortunately, Dinidza River Lodge is not suitable for children under 10 years of age.

The lodge itself has two bedrooms – one with a kingsize bed, walk-in cupboard and en-suite. The other bedroom is a twin with bunk beds which can be converted into two singles if preferred.

There is also a large lounge, dining and games area and right next to the lodge are two separate chalets – one with a double bed and one with two single beds. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities.

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning for those warmer summer months. The main deck and braai area have unparalleled views of the Olifants River and offer the perfect place to relax and listen to the sounds of the African bush at the end of a day game viewing.

Dinidza River Lodge is self-catering with a fully fitted kitchen for you to prepare your own meals or alternatively there is an outside braai area. For those special occasions we can also organise catering.

Dinidza River Lodge has its own housekeeping staff to look after the Lodge for the duration of your stay. Laundry facilities and babysitting services are also available at an extra cost.

Check in after 2pm and check out by 10am.

• We are in a Big Five area, we are part of the Greater Kruger Park, Limpopo, South Africa and have wild animals around.
  The game is roaming free, this is the beauty allowed to few. The same requires responsibility of the beholder though.
• Game Drives – self game drives allowed, Game Ranger & vehicle subject to availability
• You do not need 4×4.
  Water here is drinkable.
  Bring own firewood or charcoal.
  Bring food and beverages.
  There are no restaurants in the vicinity.
  Closest shops and restaurants are 30 km from here in Phalaborwa town.
  Kruger park gate is 30 km from us, Phalaborwa gate.
  There is always somebody here to welcome you when you arrive.
