Another special, big 5, self-catering experience from RnR Holidays. This private self-catering lodge is located in the Balule Nature Reserve which is part of the Greater Kruger Park, host to the ‘big 5’ and all that the Kruger National Park is world famous for.
The lodge can accommodate up to 12 people at a time, in six air-conditioned bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The bedrooms have double beds and the bathrooms are each fitted with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped for your self-catering needs. Extra facilities include a braai area, swimming pool, a TV with DStv and secure on-site parking.
Guests can enjoy swimming, game drives, forest picnics and game viewing on the nature reserve. Nearby attractions include Grietjie Nature Reserve, the Kruger National Park, Hans Merensky Golf Club and Olifants River.
The house provides a lodge atmosphere and is set on a high vantage, which provides excellent views of the bush and game from the deck, pool and rooms. Members of the big 5 are regularly seen from the house.
The house is secured with an electric fence, which assists in keeping wild animals from entering the property.
A cleaning services will be provided in the mornings and late afternoon and fire wood is provided.
Private games drives, in your own vehicle, are possible but many opt for the guided drive with expert ranger and vehicle. This can be arranged by your RnR consultant.
