Hiking Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is one of the most famous landmarks in the world, and it is found within one of the best countries you could possibly ever visit, Peru. Peru is situated in South America, and if you haven’t even considered going before, you so should. It’s full of culture, good food, amazing history, and the Machu Picchu hike that you could try your hand at. Companies such as Kandoo Adventures have many different guided hikes around the famous landmark, as well as many other adventures for you to take part in. It does require a bit of stamina, but it’ll also offer some of the best views you’ll ever be able to see because believe us, you do go pretty high! Traveling to Peru is pretty cheap as well, especially if you’re considering staying for a week or two.

Snorkeling The Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef just off the coast of Queensland is one of the most amazing places that you’ll ever be able to go snorkeling. They have such an array of marine wildlife to explore, this attracts thousands of people each year.  If you wanted to push the boat out a little and have an even more crazy experience, you could get Scuba Diving qualified and go deep into the reef below the waters. Traveling to Australia and finding somewhere to stay for the length of time you would need to stay to actually get over the jet lag and enjoy the holiday is rather expensive, but the experiences you’ll get to have there are more than worth it. There’s literally so much to do that you’ll never get bored! There are plenty of companies that offer scuba diving or snorkeling tours as well, but if you’re going to chose something such as scuba diving you will have to have a license. Whilst the reef is great to explore, it can also be a little dangerous if the conditions aren’t right.

Quad Biking Up A Volcano

Quad biking is fun no matter what country you go to, but some of the offer an even more incredible experience by allowing you to quad bike up a mountain to get up close and personal with a volcano. Not for the faint-hearted, this one is truly suitable to those that have a passion for adventure. This can be done in countries such as Tenerife with the great Mt. Tiede. You should expect to go thousands of meters up the mountain and to have some of the most amazing views that you’ll ever be able to see. You’ll also be in awe of the sheer size of the volcano itself.
