Kerala, Known as god's own country is one of the most famous Tourist destination in India.  Kerala has a number of tourist destinations that will enchant any nature lover like hills, Kerala backwaters, beaches, waterfalls and wildlife. Alleppy

Kumarakom



Kumarakom has situated about 16 km from Kottayam along the Vembanad Lake. The view offered from Kumarakom is Amazing, the green paddy fields and the mangrove forests are attracting everyone who visits the place. The Kumarakom bird sanctuary is a favorite place of migratory birds and an ornithologist's paradise. And the main thing attracts visitors to Kumarakom is, it is one of the best places in Kerala for Ayurveda.


Kuttanad



Kuttanad is known as the rice bowl of Kerala.  Kuttanad is a part of Alappuzha District and covers the center part of the backwaters. According to the geographical feature of Kuttanad,  it is the lowest place in India and lies below the sea level. And Kuttanad is one of the place in the world where farming happens below the sea level. There are several attractions to Kuttanad. The main attracting factor is the scenery created by paddy fields, backwaters and leafy shores.


Kollam- Ashtamudi Kayal



One who has seen Kollam doesn't need his Illam" (Namboodiri Brahmin mansions are called Illoms in Malayalam).  This old Malayalam saying gives ample proof of the tempting beauty of this old sea port town, on the banks of the Ashtamudi Lake,  Kollam. Coconut palms that border the banks of the Lake are giving more attraction for this lake. Tourists can travel from Alappuzha to Kollam on boats to explore the lake's beauty further. Being very large, a tourist can fully view the Ashtamudi Lake only by travels through the boat.
