Rajathan is a beautiful place to Travel to and explore. The grandeur and opulence of Rajasthan is simply amazing. Best time to visit

This desert land is scorching hot in summers making it difficult for tourist to come and see around. So try to travel here in winter months i.e. from October to February so that you can enjoy real essence of the place. There are four main cities which you should cover in your Rajasthan trip i.e. Jaipur Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Udaipur. Try to stay for minimum of 2 days at each place, and then only you will be able to see these cities properly. Some people go in for a road trip, these people should keep aside at least 2 days for travelling between these cities. For nature enthusiast covering Ranthambhore National Park located in Sawai Madhopur and Sariska Tiger Reserve located in Alwar is also on the itinerary.

Sighseeing in Rajasthan is quite extensive. There are numerous forts and places of tourist interest in every city. From Hawa Mahal, Amer Fort, Galtaji Temple, Birla temple, Jal Mahal, Jantar Mantar in Jaipur to beautiful Pichola Lake, Lake Palace, Jagdish Temple, City Palace, Jag Mandir in Udaipur every city in Rajasthan boasts of distinctive charm and appeal. Jaisalmer is famous for trip to the sand dunes, Jaisalmer fort etc. So, depending on your preference and budget go in for the sightseeing expedition. Beware of fake guides who are there to rob you of your hard earned money. The guide you hire should carry an ID from Tourism Board and state Government.

Rajasthan boasts of outstanding shopping experience. As a matter of fact people specially come to Rajasthan to shop for precious and semi precious gems, jewelry, marble artifacts etc. You get jewelry at wholesale rates here. Also, the quality is supposed to be quite high.  Besides jewelry you can buy so many other things in the colorful bazaars of Rajasthan such as décor items, traditional shoes, lamps, bags etc. do not forget  to bargain if you are buying stuff at local bazaars.

Local transportation

Most of the people take a road trip to Rajasthan. So if you have your own car things become easy for you. In case you want to go in for local transportation within the city there are various options such as tourist buses, cabs, battery operated autos etc. these are not very expensive and you can even book them for the whole day. You can even tell your hotel staff or the travel agent to arrange for transportation for you.
