Bernice Area at Grand Lake State Park is a small park when compared with other parks around Grand Lake Oklahoma, but it is large enough for big group gatherings and also perfect for kids.
The park is a nice free entry area that is peaceful and has a nature trail. This part of Bernice is good for watching birds—observation towers are placed at the park. Cherokee Area at Grand Lake State Park is a well-known park in the Disney area that you can fish and camp. Pensacola Dam is located near this park which has campgrounds near Grand Lake Oklahoma—about three waterfront RV sites with different hosts—and a golf course.
