This is one of the special types of daily Sevas in Tirumala Tirupati, where couples are Allowed to perform the marriage of Lord Venkateswara to Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Padmavathi.
This ritual is performed according to our ancient Sastras called Vaikhanasa Agama. According to this sastra, there are 7 stages for performing Kalyanotsavam.

- Maha Sankalpam
- Kanyadhanam
- Mangalya dharana
- Varana Mahiram
- Aarti
The ritual is performed on the hands of descendants of Tallapaka Annamachrya. On festive days and other auspicious occasions like Brahmotsavam , Pavitrotsavam ,solar and lunar eclipses, the kalyanam will not be held.
Kalyanotsavam Timings:
This Kalyanotsavam seva starts on 10.00A.M everyday and ends at 1.30 PM. After the ritual, all the Ticket holders are allowed for darshan. Singles are not allowed for this ritual. 500 couples take part in this seva daily.
Kalyanotsavam Ticket Cost:
The cost of the ticket is around Rs 1000/- and only 2 persons are allowed per ticket. Free laddus will be given at the time of issuing tickets. Book the tickets before 3 to 4 months in advance. If there is valid recommendation then availing of tickets will be easy even before days or hours.
