Travel & Fitness: Move this Ramadan with Four Season Hotels

There are regular travellers, and travellers that needs their fitness in whilst of the road. As avid active travellers, fitting in a workout during our luxury stay is a must, mostly when you stay at properties with great facilities and activities conducted by their fitness teams. If you are a muslim and do Ramadan or happen to simply be in vacation in any of their participating Middle East and Africa properties, you will be able to enjoy free fitness activities, part of their “Move this Ramadan” campaign.

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts launched this Ramadan wellbeing campaign in 2017 with the goal of bringing people together to walk, jog and stretch their way to a healthy Ramadan. Workouts offered are light and enjoyable, which is perfect for those who are fasting.

Each property hosts weekly wellness activities led by their resident Four Seasons fitness expert. There will be jogging, yoga, stretching, strolls, and more, all curated based on the local climates and Activity levels that are appropriate when fasting.

Global Wellness Day on 9 June 2018

Their campaign coincides with the Global Wellness Day which focuses on living well, both physically and spiritually. Four Seasons will organize locally special events as part of the campaign to celebrate the occasion.

For this campaign, 15 Four Seasons from the Middle East and North Africa are participating, including properties in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Istanbul, Baku, Maldives, Langkawi, Jakarta, etc. Note that anyone can join and you do not need to be a guest to be part of these free classes. Just make sure to book in advance!

  • Activity: 2km group walk/jog/shuffle and light exercise led by Maria Moskalenko, Fitness Instructor. All participants who attend at least one session will receive a complimentary 30-minute treatment at Dahlia Spa.

After each 30-minute long meditation session, fresh yoghurt and Bateel dates will be served to break the fast. Guests then can proceed to the Ramadan Tent to enjoy Iftar with family and friends.
