I Travel alone to be alone.

Whenever I do a Google search for articles about solo travel I am inundated with tips on how to meet people of my trip and it turns me right off.

I travel alone to be alone.

I live in one of the busiest and densely populated cities in the world – London. All I need to do is look outside my window and I will see a bus go by and people walking down the street.

Sometimes it can feel suffocating.

Is it my introversion?

Or maybe my need for silence?

Perhaps it’s my need for stillness.

Or maybe it’s all three of these. But in my 30th year of existence, my solo travel memoirs and Musings are all about being alone in a beautiful place and taking the world in at my own pace.

A lasting thought:
Travel is all about your personal style and personal preferences.

We may want to travel to find meaning or just be still. All I know is that there are no rules.
