I’ve come to interrupt my usual travel, lifestyle and beauty content for you to discover a part of me I thought I had hidden. That’s right. I’m Petty. I wrote about the art of letting go last year and whilst it encouraged me to take a step back sometimes the petty side just takes over. That got me thinking about the world of celebrities, the TV shows I’ve watched and my favourite petty characters.

Now, what is petty you may ask? Good old Google describes it as:

Whitney ‘Show Me The Receipts’ Houston

God bless Whitney’s soul. What I loved about her is that she stood her ground and was a woman of words. Petty people remember the RECEIPTS:

I could write a whole post on Cardi B’s pettiest moments but my favourite one of all time has to be her and Nicki Minaj’s beef at the Harper’s Bazaar party involving a knot and a flying shoe. WHAT WAS THE REASON?

Louis ‘I Am A Lawyer’ Litt

If you haven’t seen Suits, you NEED to. Not only will it make you think you’re a practical lawyer, it’ll make you want to move to New York and meat Louis Litt himself. A man of peculiar tastes, but a damn good lawyer, Louis is one of the pettiest characters I’ve ever witness on the realm of Netflix. Here’s the very best or worst of Mr. Litt.

Cyrus ‘The White House is Mine’ Beene 

Scandal, scandal, scandal. If you haven’t watched Scandal you better add it to your list this winter. Although its a little farfetched at times, one of the standout characters is Mr Cyrus Beene who works is way to the *almost* top of the White House through petty politics.

Tiffany ‘New York’ Pollard

If you’ve never seen Flavor Flav’s reality show ‘Flavour of Love’ you’re missing out on the reality TV queen that is Tiffany Pollard, also known as New York. Instead of me telling you why she is petty, I’m just going to go down the gifual representation route:

Nicki ‘Stopped the Bag’ Minaj

Nicki Minaj seems a little bitter this year if I do say so (Sorry Barbz). If shoes aren’t being thrown at her by Cardi B, someone is accusing her of stopping their bag. I don’t really know what to say but I’d recommend Nicki reads ‘Slay in Your Lane’ because there is room for everyone. But you gotta love her shady moments…
