Photo Diary: CookInn Taipei, Taiwan

I enjoy taking cooking classes in new cities. My last blog post showed pictures of my experience in Bali and this Cooking Class in Taiwan was similar because the day also started with a Market Tour. The itinerary for the class included a market tour, making Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings), beef noodles, cucumber salad and bubble milk tea which originated in Taiwan.

I never thought making dumplings was such a meticulous task. I really enjoy eating dumplings and I usually order them at restaurants without really considering how they are made. They taste delicious and that is all I know.

I attended this cooking class offered by CookInn in Taipei with an open mind.

The class starts with a market tour and also some food tasting in the market. I particularly liked the market because it was visited mainly by locals. We bought some ingredients needed for the cooking class and we got ready to prepare the dishes for the day.

On the menu
