Touring the Sailing Yachts of FLIBS 2019 Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is generally a show for power boats and super yachts, but this year we walked into the show to see several masts! We started our way to the docks to tour any Sailing vessels on display.

First up, the Leopard 58 Sailing Catamaran. This very roomy sailing yacht came with a price tag of $1.5 million. A bit above our pay grade but still awesome to dream about.

You will never see anything else like the Sunreef 60 Sailing Catamaran, because they are custom made to give the client whatever they dream of. The model we toured cost about 2.3 million Euro which is about $2.5 million and had their own wine.

The Beneteau Oceanis 51.1 was our favorite. The only monohull at the show, Beneteau is known for quality sailboats, and it doesn’t hurt that our friend Amanda Haley gave us a great tour showing all the great features. Still expensive but a little more attainable at about $700,000.00.

Then it’s off to visit a few more displays

F-Rib folding RIB

This dinghy was something we considered before we found an amazing deal on our current AB Inflatable. The smallest model weighs about 75 pounds, folds and stows nicely and only takes about 5 minutes to inflate. Nautical Ventures sells them in South Florida. We are honestly considering trading ours in for one, that’s how neat they are.

SiOnyx

SiOnyx  came out with a more affordable night vision action camera called the Aurora Sport which brings the price tag all the way down to a comfortable $399. The affiliate link to it on Amazon is HERE.

Guy Harvey

We said hello again to artist Guy Harvey and it was nice that he actually remembered meeting us last year!
