Camping on Our Catalina 22 Sailboat

Now that we have new (to us) Cushions for Luna our plan is to try them out. It took forever to get the covers off the cushions and dry them out. The zippers were all jammed and it took a lot of WD-40 and messing with them using pliers but we got them to open so the covers could be washed. The foam was soaked. It took us hours to squeeze out all the water in the v berth cushions and several days for the rest of them to dry out on their own.

The next day was eventful. We motored down to Haulover Sandbar for a swim and a tour around Sandspur Island and did a sea rescue! Thankfully the guys that fell off their boat were OK and I am proud of myself at how great I did having to captain Luna all by myself while Rob went to rescue them. Watch it all here:
