Serviced apartments have established themselves as necessary forms of accommodation for travelers worldwide.

But among the wide range of serviced apartments available, people still have some concern about what these service apartments claim to provide and provide.

High standards of service and quality

Serviced apartments have become a reliable alternative to hotels and various other forms of accommodation.

Claiming their service apartment will be your home away from home they promise the apartment will be equipped with essentials such as tea, coffee, and toiletries on arrival. They say their service apartment is well ornamented and have that comfortable, spacious and relaxed environment.

People get disappointed when they do not get the services there were promised. One of the biggest disappointments they face is the looks of the service apartments. Most of the time people feel they have been tricked because the images they saw were old ones and the current form of the service apartment is not they thought it would be space wise. Other concerns they have the commodities they were guaranteed like extra towels, blankets, sheets, and toiletries.

Maintenance and refurbish quality

Service apartments state that over time they have restored and maintained the quality of their kitchen and bath fixtures same as one will do at their homes. Especially apartment’s fully-equipped kitchen stuffed with cooker, fridge, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The walls are well decorated and uphold the quality as they promised.

But in reality the walls maybe not are that well decorated as promised. The bath and kitchen fixtures may have some problems, and at some time they may not work at all. The kitchen equipment they promised maybe there at one time but now is not available at all. People who come with high hopes believing these promises get disappointed from the moment they walk in. If you are saddened by the first moment, imagine the rest of the stay will not be as comfortable as one thought it would be.

Homelike comforts

Service apartment claim they will provide a secure and comfy serviced apartments. They state their apartments often include a separate living room as well as all the entertainment consoles like TVs, music systems, DVDs, free Wi-Fi, and a personal telephone line.

But in actuality people often complained they didn’t have any telephone line in their room they have to walk to the front table for that and Wi-Fi was not free and in some cases no Wi-Fi at all. They had a TV in the room, but only a couple of channels which they have no interest in watching and extra channels cost money more than hotels. People were disappointed said they are happy with their laptops.

Cost

Most service apartments claim they are cost-effective than other accommodations available and provide far more services than others and that is why they should be our first choice. They also offer extra services like housekeeping and concierge, and it doesn’t matter whether they choose smaller apartments or luxury apartments.

But in reality, people said costs were high considering the amenities and fixtures they provided, and they should have chosen hotel over their service apartment. The concierge services were not what they expected in reality service apartments had only a couple of caretakers for more than 10 rooms and in some cases, the rooms were higher in number.
