Arossim Beach, Cansaulim, Goa.

Like all beaches on this amazing, beautiful endless South Goa coastline of the Indian Ocean, Arossim Beach also has dazzling white sand, green dense palm trees and colorful fishing boats which are like slowly and peacefully dancing among the ocean waves. Around Arossim you may get to see the cute little Pratincoles or the Small Indian Pratincoles, a small wader bird. They get to breed on the sandy shores of rivers or by the sea. It’s an utterly delightful experience to be able to see these little birds nesting half buried in the sands of Arossim!

From Arossim Beach tourists can also visit the sixteenth century Church of Sao Tome (St. Thomas the Apostle) and the Cansaulim Church. There is a difference of opinion as to when the church was built but that it was rebuilt in 1632 is certain. Here, the Feast of the three Magi is celebrated with great pomp and show. The nights are quieter here, so if you intend to go partying you will have to be on the lookout for other options towards the north.
