Wai:

One of the most tranquil sites for camping near Pune is Wai. With the presence of River Krishna camping can stretch to fun packed water sports like swimming and rafting. There are also facilities for learning archery, rifle shooting and bamboo raft building near the camp site. Murud:

Murud is a small fishing hamlet near Pune and an offbeat location not frequented by many tourists. You can trek up to the MurudJanjira fort and wallow in the sight of the Arabian Sea from the top. You can also trek to a nearby ancient mosque, Eidgah which has an open roof. Mulshi:
