When in Hyderabad, Biryani is a must try but ask the locals for some good street Food to satisfy evening cravings and this is where we were taken – Roll Darbar ! This outlet is a fast food joint in the Gachibowli locality of the city and while it may seem like a small shop, be assured the vehicles parked nearby are all for the rolls here.

No talking ambience, service or hygiene here – its all about the taste ! 3 men occupied in getting as many rolls as possible to waiting patrons, take away’s a plenty. Glance at the menu and one will find 90+ different varieties of rolls majority of them suited to the non-vegetarians. They also had some Momo variants listed and paratha’s too.

And so while Double Egg Chicken roll was what I opted for , being a Momo’s person, could not resist not ordering for a veg Momo. While the former lived up to its expectation, the latter did not. The roll was generously stuffed with chicken adding onion’s, sauces and spices for that high on taste experience. Portion was enough to ensure that this evening snack was filling for dinner as well. Momo was disappointing -dry, bland and not good! No seating here but don’t let that stop you from standing out there and eating, after all that is what ‘street’ food is about or get a take-away like I did

Bottom line, when you are in Hyderabad and around Gachibowli, make a pit stop here.
