Melissani Lake is an enchanting area, as it is an underground lake that is filled entirely by subterranean currents. You also get to enjoy a free light show as a result of this, as the sunshine plays on the water to create the effect of dancing lights. Also make sure to visit the unique and surprising Drogarati cave in Kefalonia, which was opened to the public only in the 1960s and is famous for its acoustics.
