Highlights are Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang, and HCMC. Price includes all internal travel and sightseeing, one extra breakfast compared to the others and the standard overnight cruise and dinner at Halong Bay.

Our verdict: Which package to choose to tour Vietnam
All three are more or less the same in terms of standard and quality. The difference comes up in the little things. For example, Intrepid Travel does not seem to cover all transport cost. At the same time, it does not take you between places by train, which, as we have covered in our previous article on Vietnam, is a must-do in the stretch between Hanoi and Danang. However, both Contiki and G Adventures include a train ride, which you will be glad they did.
Contiki also includes an extra breakfast in the package, which for those conscious of extracting all their money’s worth of value, might tilt the balance in its favour. It also takes you to one extra place for $100 more, so it ultimately comes down to your preference of how leisurely you want this trip to be. In our opinion, both of them are a steal.
