Today I am sharing with you a couple of products by Ledlenser that are great for RVing, car camping, a bug out bag, or for emergency lighting for the home.

What I Tested

Ledlenser sent over the MT10 Rechargeable flashlight and iA6R micro-prism rechargeable lantern for me to test out. My first impression, man they were hard to get out of the packaging, lol!

What I Liked

One hand operation: With a front on/off/dim button and a pull-type focus, you can operate this flashlight with just one hand.

Battery Indicator on On/Off button: Quickly allows you to see how much charge is left on the battery.

Internal charging: No need to remove the battery to charge, simply plug the cord into the USB 3.0 port and the other end into a wall charger or even computer to recharge.

Several light functions: Besides the high, mid, and low beam selection you can also have it flash once, twice, or three flashes at a time.

Man, it is bright! This thing puts out some serious light! Took it outside to our very large backyard and could stand at one in and see clear to the other end of the yard (and beyond).

Needs Improvement

Really the only thing I would love to see is a red light function added to this. Other than that, it is a great little flashlight for camping, RVing, or any nighttime outdoor activity.

What I Liked

SOS Function: It emits SOS in morse code by doing 3 x short, 3 x long, 3 x short bursts of light

Transportation Lock: Nothing is worse than finding your light source dead because it turned itself on while in a bag or packed away. This has a transportation lock feature that stops that from happening.

Several ways to mount: Besides the obvious of having it on a flat surface it come with a rubber hook for hanging as well as a magnet to mount it on metal surfaces.

Dimmable light: I love the fact that the light is dimmable, sometimes you don’t need full-on power when doing certain tasks or when you don’t want to disturb others.

Glow in the dark: The on/off button is glow in the dark. There is also a ring around the base that is glow in the dark. Perfect for trying to find it in the dark!

Battery Indicator: The on/off button also serves as a battery charge indicator.

Compact and lightweight: The days of bringing big bulky lanterns camping are gone! This thing put out some serious light for its size and is perfect to bring along camping, RVing, or for any adventure where you may want a lantern-style light without the bulk and weight.

Needs Improvement

Again, I would like to see a red light function for this which would be great if you are out camping trying to find a potty area in the middle of the night and don’t want to lose your night vision.

Final Thoughts

Overall, these are both great products that are now part of my camping and RV gear. The lantern, while typically too heavy for longer backpacking trips or thru-hikes like the Appalachian Trail, will make a great addition to my pack for those shorter trips especially since it is also a battery bank.
