Klaksvik (Faroe Islands)

This was almost the view from my sleeping spot one night this past July in the Faroe Islands. It didn’t end up being my resting place due to two things. The first is the Wind, which was so strong on the prior night that I didn’t sleep so well as my campervan rocked much of the night. The wind was strong when I took this so I opted for a spot nearby, between two buildings, to gain some shelter from the wind. The second is that this location was at the base of a hiking trail. One thing I learned from prior nights is that the Faroese people like to hike early in the morning, and I didn’t really want a stream of people coming by my campervan while I was still waking up.
